Building Access

Many Manhattan venues require advance scheduling for freight elevators, loading docks and service entrances. Send us your venue’s loading instructions and access requirements early so we can plan the delivery and installation properly.

COI Requirements

Many corporate buildings, hotels and high-rise venues require a Certificate of Insurance before vendors can enter the property. Tropical Spice Event Rentals is fully insured and can provide a COI upon request.

Parking and Loading

Street parking and loading access can be limited throughout Manhattan. Whenever available, we plan around commercial loading zones, reserved loading areas, loading docks and scheduled freight-elevator windows.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can you deliver to a Manhattan high-rise with a freight elevator? Yes. We regularly deliver to high-rise office buildings, hotels, residential properties and event spaces throughout Manhattan. Please provide the freight-elevator dimensions, loading location, operating hours and reservation requirements so we can coordinate with your venue or building management.

What is your lead time for Midtown versus Downtown deliveries? Delivery time depends more on venue access, loading restrictions and the event schedule than the neighborhood itself. Midtown and Downtown venues may require reserved loading docks or freight elevators. Booking at least one to two weeks ahead is recommended, while larger or more complex installations should be reserved earlier.

Do you provide a Certificate of Insurance? Yes. We are fully insured and can provide a Certificate of Insurance for venues that require one. Please send the venue’s sample COI or insurance requirements before your event so the document can be prepared correctly.

Does stage rental include delivery, setup and removal? Delivery, professional installation and removal can be included in your custom quote. These services are priced separately from the platform rental because costs depend on the venue location, building access, stage size and event schedule.

Can you create a custom stage size? Yes. Our modular stage platforms can be combined into custom layouts for presentations, performances, fashion runways, ceremonies and other events. Send us the available space, desired stage size and event details for a recommendation.
